We would write more on these games, but unfortunately we don't play in them very often. Although we make occasional forays into no limit we're basically limit players, and the topics we choose to address in our articles reflect this. However, we're in the process of starting a series of articles on limit betting six max, and most of the ideas that we'll be discussing there will be transferable to the no limit Texas hold em games as well. For instance, in a full no limit game you can actually make money by simply waiting to flop two pair or better and then just getting all your chips in. This is basically the equivalent of waiting to flop a set in limit, and it's a strategy that is at least moderately profitable. However, when the game gets short you're going to have to push more small edges, which means going to war with hands like top pair no kicker and second pair with an overcard kicker. While this is certainly true in limit it should also be true in no limit as well.
