Let it Ride The Rules of Let it Ride Optimal Online Let it Ride Strategy Best Places to Play Let it Ride The Rules of Let it Ride The object of Let it Ride is to make the best five card poker hand possible out of the three cards that are dealt to you and the two community cards in the middle of the table. In the beginning of the deal the player places three bets, all the same size, in three small circles on the felt. These circles are marked as "1" "2" and "$". You are then dealt three cards, face down. At this point you have two options. If you like the chances that your hand will qualify for a payout you can 'let it ride', or if you don't like your hands chances you can have the first of the three bets you placed returned to you. Once this has been done the first community card is exposed, and the process is repeated. If you think the last community card will improve your hand to a winning hand, or if you already have a winning hand, you let the bet ride; otherwise you can have the second of the three bets placed returned to you. After all players have acted the second community card is turned up, and all players must turn up their three private cards as well. You do not have the option of retracting the third bet. The dealer then determines which hands qualify for a payout. The payout schedule is as follows: Royal Flush: 1000:1 Straight Flush: 200:1 Four of a Kind: 50:1 Full House: 11:1 Flush: 8:1 Straight: 5:1 Three of a Kind: 3:1 Two Pair: 2:1 Pair of Tens or Better: 1:1 This payout schedule applies to each bet you still have out at the end of the deal. So, if you were dealt A A 4, and the next two cards were an ace and a six, you would receive a 3:1 payment on your first bet, a 3:1 payment on your second bet, and a 3:1 payment on your third bet. (This assumes that you decided to 'let it ride' after you received your first three down cards. You would, of course, do this, as you should always let it ride once you've made a hand that qualifies for a payout). Let your second bet ride if you have any of the following:
